"The eye is a reflection of the soul.
What kind of soul do I have?
Does it reflect something beautiful? Peaceful? Deep and mysterious? Is it drawn towards the light, or does it still carry shadows waiting to be understood?
This work is a reflection on the soul. A bird sees itself in the world around it, reflected on still water. The light and the dark exist together. Each contains the other, quietly, in secret.
Perhaps what we see is never only the world before us, but ourselves looking back."
